C’est Pas Bon from fore on Vimeo.

For the video to his new single “C’est pas bon” Zimbabwean-born rapper Fore has recycled other artists work. Fore, who is supposed to leave New York due to lacking residence rights, raps about internal immigrant struggles, using a sample from Amadou & Mariam’s “Ce N’est Pas Bon”. The visuals, directed by BKLYN ZULU, juggle clips of West Africans in NYC from Andrew Dosunmu‘s film Restless City. The track can be downloaded on Fore’s Going Back Is Not The Same As Staying LP, which is available for free on his website.
